Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Launch AI Jam collects, why, and what you can do about it. Launch AI Jam is operated by Parth Tiwari, a sole proprietor based in India. For any privacy question or request, email parth@launchaijam.com.

1. What we collect

When you create an account (via Google sign-in): your name, email address and profile picture, as provided by Google. We never receive your Google password.

When you submit a tool: the tool details you enter, including name, description, website URL, logo and links, plus a record of which account submitted it.

When you interact: your upvotes, comments and reviews, which are public and shown next to your display name.

When you buy a paid plan: we store the payment reference and which plan you bought. We do not collect or store your card details — payment information is entered directly with our payment providers.

When you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address.

Automatically: standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, in server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging.

2. Why we use it

• To run the site: show listings, attribute votes and comments, and let you manage your submissions.
• To deliver what you paid for, including promotion and the Founder Audit.
• To send transactional email (welcome, launch and payment-related messages) and, if you subscribed, the newsletter.
• To keep the platform safe: prevent spam, vote manipulation and abuse.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers we need to operate:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database and file storage.
• Vercel — website hosting and server logs.
• Razorpay — payment processing (India).
• PayPal — payment processing (international).
• Resend — sending transactional and newsletter email.
• Microlink — generating website preview screenshots for listings.

We may also disclose data if legally required, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

4. Public information

Please note that tool listings, upvotes, comments and reviews are public by design, along with the display name and picture on your profile. Don't put anything in a listing or comment that you don't want publicly visible.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage that are necessary for the site to work: keeping you signed in, and remembering your light/dark theme preference. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. International transfers

Our providers operate globally, so your data may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. We only use established providers who offer appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

7. How long we keep it

We keep account and listing data for as long as your account is active, since listings are advertised as permanent. Payment records are kept as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your account and personal data.
• Stop sending you marketing email — every newsletter also has an unsubscribe link.

Email parth@launchaijam.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Note that if you delete your account we may keep payment records where we're legally required to, and we may keep a listing live if it was paid for, with your personal details removed.

9. Children

Launch AI Jam isn't intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we'll delete it.

10. Security

We use reputable providers and standard measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
